Screen Addiction

I think that when people are addicted to their phones it makes people around them feel like they are missing out if they don't go on their phones too. And with the necessity and avalibility of phones now it means it's always an option for most people. And it's kind of sad when you see people playing games on their phone or scrolling instead of hanging out with friends or going out to make friends.

Candy Apple Theroy

I think that everyone is like a candy apple: their real personality - the apple - is covered by a coating that may be sugary-sweet, or pungently tart, or whatever flavour it may have. Some are so heavy you can't even glimpse the apple. Some are fuzzy, so you can only recognise a blurry outline of the apple. Some coverings are practically transparent, revealing almost all that's inside, although there is still a thin film that clings. Meeting a person who looks like a plain, uncoated apple is quite rare.

Staircase Grenade

I had an interesting idea while I was out for a walk: You wouldn't throw a grenade up a slope, so don't throw it up stairs. It's meant to mean you wouldn't do something that would immediately fail, so don't do something that sets yourself up to fail.
